  • Since we are seperating mecha counterparts, I believe it's time we should do the same with characters. Perhaps even with MSG movie trilogy, MSG tv series and the Tomino novels.

    • I agree that we should probably make new pages for different versions of characters. However, we shouldn't separate the Movie versions and TV versions of characters from Mobile Suit Gundam, since it's essentially the same versions, but with very minor differences in plot, in fact, certain changes from the movies do not count, for example: in the original show after the White Base leaves from Earth and goes to space in order to basically serve as a decoy for the Zeon forces, Dren is ordered by Char to attack the White Base, when he himself failed to defeat the Federation's ship. In the movies, Char's previous attack before Dren's did not happen, nor did Dimitry attack the White Base in the Zakrello Mobile Armor. However, in the video games all the events from the show do happen, but in a changed order. First Dren attacks the White Base and gets wiped out, then Char attacks and Tokwan launches in the Bigro and after that, Dimitry attacks. Instead of making separate pages for Movie and TV versions, we should probably just have a section for each character's page detailing the differences between the TV show and The Movies.

Okay. Thank you. But, what will we do after we get the final results ?

    • I vote no. It is not necessary to separate characters,Each has a topic on each version.

      example:  http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/Char

If you have multiple profiles, this will become a  visual pollution.

Wrong. It actually is necessary to separate characters, as characters' personalities, appearances and such may vary from continuity to continuity. I disagree. Giving separate pages to different versions of various characters would make it more clean. As then nobody would have to shoehorn various info into one page, leaving any reader with a hard time trying to comprehend the gigantic mess.

Why don't we merge Ling A-bao with Amuro Ray then since the former is an incarnation of the latter.

I'm not keen on separating the more closer incarnations like the movie trilogy but for Origin (different ages of characters, different mobile weapons and different locations; Los Angeles vs New Yark being Garma's domain) and Tomino novels (where Amuro dies), I believe it is necessary

I'll split the Origin articles first.

      We'll have

      • Amuro Ray/Origin
      • Bright Noa/Origin etc.
