Trivia of Gundam Seed
While it is commonly established by the Lore of Gundam Seed that Beams in CE does not have repelling factor in them as a result beam sabers would go through each other. However, beam particles, plasma, ionic or photonic alike should be able to produce repelling factor when they clash even if the Mirage Colloid Particles used to maintain the beam sabers form does not have repelling factor in them.
Hyper Deuterion Engine: While people generally believe that this engine can't produce enough energy to keep up with the energy consumption rate of the Destiny Gundam, the fact that the internal phase shift armor was required to withstand and aid in discharging excessive energy proves that it wasn't the Hyper Deuterion Engine but the Gundam itself is unable to utitlize all the energy produced by the Engine.
PS Armor: People generally believe that high heat energy weapons is the way to penetrate Phase Shift Armor. Phase Shift Armor being able to withstand atmospheric entry temperature means that Phase Shift Armor should have an equally high tolerance to high heat energy weapons as it is against physical damage.
Anti-Beam Coatings: Most people does not notice that while Anti-Beam Coatings can reflect or even diffuse beam particles to render the weapon unable to focus and heat up the surface, Anti-Beam Coatings is a type of Painting and requires constant maintenance and renew application of the coating on the shield to maintain its beam reflecting capabilieis. This by right, means that prolonged exposure to beam attacks can melt the coating quicker and render the shield ineffective against beam weapons.
Kira Yamato said that a Nuclear Powered Gundam such as Freedom has 4 times more energy than Strike. This means the average energy rate of Freedom's nuclear reactor is 2.4 kW which means that the average energy rate of Batteries used by mobile suits is 0.6 kW. As mobile suits typically lasts for around 30 minutes in active combat, it can be said that a Battery powered unit will have a total of 1080 kW in 30 minutes.
