X-Rounder is the classification of human beings that have superhuman abilities to utilize the typically unused "X-Region" of the human brain in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam AGE.

Description & Characteristics
X-Rounders, as described by Grodek during his conversation with Flit in one occasion after he sensed Desil fighting in a Zedas, are the humans who are able to use the X-Region of their brains, thus, improving their precognition abilities. This is proven true, as they show to be able to predict when their enemies attack reach them, though not always as accurate as they predict. X-Rouders tend to act like normal humans. Their traits are only shown in battles, as they can single-handed outperform human pilots, except whom are experienced in battles and against the X-Rounders. However, a X-Rounder can lose control of his/her abilities, as shown by Girard Spriggan.
History
Little was known about the first appearance of X-Rounders. According to Grodek Ainoa, X-Rounders are a group of humans that are able to use their brain's X-Region. Both the Vagan and Earth Federation are researching about X-Rounders and their effectiveness in battles. The Vagan are the first to employ X-Rounders into their ranks, also possessing the most advanced in X-Rounder's research. As such, several Vagan X-Rounder-use Mobile Suits have been produced. The Federation is rather late about X-Rounder research when it began as a project supervised by first Federation's X-Rounder, Flit Asuno, several years after War of Bat Extermination was over. At least one known Federation X-Rounder research accident happened.
Use in Military
Vagan employs most Martian X-Rounders into their ranks due to their precognition ability that surpass normal humans. They even have the technology that force its pilots to manifest their X-Region abilities. It's one of the reason Federation has hard times facing even against a simple Vagan platoon.
