Shortly after the Arista crystal incident at the end of the 7th Gunpla Battle World Championships and the disappearance of Chairman Mashita and his assistant Baker, Yajima Trading purchased a controlling interest in Plavsky Particle System Engineering. Using the company's expansive resources, former Gunpla fighter Nils Nielsen was able to rediscover and synthesize Plavsky Particles aboard the International Space Station, thus ensuring the future of Gunpla Battles.
