The ZI-XA2 is a prototype machine that appeared in the G20 (1998–2000) tribute magazine.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

This machine had been developed by Zeonic prior to the ZI-XA3 Crabman, and the number "ZI-XA2" was Zeonic's production number. The arms had not been built yet, and balancer weights had been installed for experimental runs. The large holes seen throughout the body are hatches for adjusting the settings of various parts, and no lids were attached to these hatches It was judged that a mere box assembly structure would not be able to withstand the load of a huge structure, so the design made extensive use of curved surfaces from the early development stage in order to increase rigidity. The large number of pipes on the back are fluid pipes that transmit the fluid internal panel system, and the side of the chest is the pulse control module.
